Remarks: "Budweiser Lager Beer. Circa: Early 1938 - 1939. This American Can Company, 12 ounce container, lists 2 Pats. - Others Pending and was filled by Anheuser-Busch, Incorporated of St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. In this package design there are a few notable changes. The content information and the "IRTP" statement are now printed at the top of the face panel. The patent information has shifted to the top of the right side panel, replacing the term "GENUINE", which remains at the top of the left side panel. Notice the added black vertical lines separating the side panels from the face panel. In compliance with the 1938 Federal Alcohol Administration (FAA) regulation. The trademark "Keglined" appears for the first time and will remain on all follow-on package designs. Note also, the MPC "A.C.CO. 68 A "X" {similar to Figure E) on page X}, printed at the bottom-center of the right side panel.
