Remarks: "Arrow 200th Anniversary Beer. Circa: 1948. This American Can Company, 12 ounce container, lists 3 Patents and was filled by The Globe Brewing Company of Baltimore, Maryland; with New York Licensed Office at 60 E. 42nd St. in New York City. Notice the added black banner at the top of the container with the words "200th Anniversary", printed within. This package was produced in celebration of Arrow Beer's 200 years of production. The Arrow brand was first produced in a brewery on Baltimore and Hanover Streets of Baltimore, Maryland by owners John Leonard Barnitz and Elias Daniel Barnitz in 1748. The Globe Brewing Company acquired the rights to continue producing this brand when the company began operating in 1935.
